Plug In To Smart Start Training Part 2

Finding Inspiration and Setting Goals
Why start your own business? Let Robert Kiyosaki the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad answer some of your questions.

Setting goals is the key to success in everything we do we hold close to our heart. When you want something bad enough we have this tendency to look at the big picture and then find the steps to get where we want to be. If a person doesn’t have goals they do not have dreams. As small or big as your goals may be it always takes a plan to get there. I call this my business plan. The business plan is only the steps I take to reach my goals and only the goals are the product of the business plan. If you would like you can call your business plan your game plan. It does not matter what you call it as long as you get where you want to go.

Along the line we all need mentors and those who inspire us. Some people use mood themes and sports heroes. Like Senior Consultant Jeffery Jay of TeamFin.com. JJ is the TeamFin meetings leader. You will learn more about Team Fin on this blog page. Jeffery likes sports figures and also makes a point to look into 212 Degrees at You Tube. This is what he says inspires him.

Me, I have become attached to Bob Parsons CEO of GoDaddy.com with his witty video blog. I am also member of the Sons of the American Legion and I have a true admiration for Veterans (paherowalk.com). Bob Parsons is a Vietnam Veteran and a Marine /  Semper Fi  like a close friend of mine. So you can understand my attraction there.

As you go through this training and especially through the websites on this page you should choose the people you would like to follow in developing your Ambit Energy business, if you choose to follow us. These are all good people and the top trainers in the company. If you follow successful people you too will become successful. Just remember success is a state of mind and once you get to that state of mind, strive to stay there with repetition being your guide.

Where We Go From Here?

We can start by not reinventing the wheel!

In this part we are not going to rewrite the way Consultants should train to become consultants. There are many talented people that are in the senior ranks and have distinctive techniques to help you get started. Here I am going to introduce you to the senior partners I have been working with to get you started. With the first Consultant I will introduce you through his website, has a list of other top consultants in the company you can use to get information and start your training. As I show you these senior partners please remember to stick with me or the person that exposed you to this blog to be your coach. Remember we all have websites to help you get started and when it comes your turn to invite a customer or a consultant you will appreciate learning this rule and what it is all about. Remember by exposing you to different people and personalities will leave you a little more comfortable in business and approaching someone else about your opportunity.

Information Overload
When you get started here remember with the upcoming pages that you will be exposed to a lot of information. Keep in mind to work at your own pace. With this opportunity you can work at your own pace and learn as you build a business. You do not want to try to promote faster than your pace and quit because you are fatigued.  If you learn and work at a steady pace, some faster than others, you will get where you are going with less disappointment. This is no race and it is best not to worry about what the other person on your team is doing. If it does not seem to be going fast enough for you speak with a senior partner who may be able to help you out. Remember we are here to help you with your business.
In the second website we will be showing you there is a distinct business plan you can copy for yourself. All you will have to do is personalize it with your information and use that for your guide to getting started. Stay firm on key things but learn to be flexible on others. Remember the key to your success is to be teachable and coachable. There are people that have gotten off to a faster start than me. This is because they have had more background in sales than I. Remember to seek help when you need it. There are people to help you because everyone realizes that everyone has to start somewhere, and nobody makes money unless the new consultant makes money. We as your seniors want to help. We can’t help you by seeing you waste your money. When you enroll we are going to call you and see how we can guide you in getting started just like any other good company, franchise or employer. We need to see you get off on and stay on the right foot and teach you to teach others to do the same.
Enough Of That Lets Meet The Senior, Executive and National Consultants
When referencing these sites when coming to this blog, on the sidebar you will find all these websites in this training under Consultant Resources. You will not have to sort through this training to find the sites when you want to reference them.
We are going to start out with Senior Consultant John Morrison. I like how John conducts himself on a training call. John is very down home but a to the point person. These qualities make his website easy to navigate and understand. Other than John doing his webinars and seminars John looks to others to help him train his team you will find a list of National Consultants with Ambit Energy and John is like the host to them in his website. Take the time to go through those websites and blogs you will learn a lot from these people. All these websites have webinars and training calls. Choose the meetings and Webinars that suit you and your schedule, attend and follow through on them. It is the next best thing to a meeting and training face to face. John also keeps an updated schedule of webinars whether they are his or other consultants'. If I do not have something listed in this blog chances are John has one listed suitable for you or your team. This website is a great general referencing site.
The next consultant I want you to review his site and you can get there through John Morrison’s site is Executive Consultant Justin Title’s Site. My senior partner Elizabeth Oliva is a team leader with John Morrison and Jeffery Jay. Because of Elizabeth is why I am associated with Team Fin. Justin Title is the leader of the Team Fin Training program. I encourage everyone I will be coaching to follow this program. In this site is a list of all the Team Fin Training Calls and I highly suggest you find some of these Training Calls to attend. In these calls you get the up to date information from the Ambit Energy Offices. This however is not mandatory for you but keep in mind following this group for you and I builds team unity.
This site will get you started with the Team Fin Success guide.  The Team Fin success Guide has all the right information to get you going by giving step by step instructions and procedures as well as a memory jogger to help you build your list. Also in this site is the schedule with the numbers and the pass codes to get into those training calls. These trainings and information meetings are great because you do not need to leave home to get the information you need to run your business successfully. Justin even has back training calls you can listen to at your leisure.
You will find the Team Fin Success Guide under Files and Websites
It Is Now Time To Meet The Consultants From Missouri
Ambit is not currently doing business in Missouri but has two very successful consultants from that state. This should be especially interesting to people who live in a state that Ambit has not started operations in.
This makes Danny Kirby a very unique marketer. I believe that Danny is a Blue Collar Working Class Hero. Danny has put his heart into his marketing and his training to beat the odds in becoming a National consultant with Ambit Energy. National Consultant is the top rank for Consultants. Danny has reason to be proud of being a farm owner, a truck driver and an Equipment Operator who turned into a success with Ambit Energy. Danny’s enthusiasm and knowledge of marketing should be an inspiration to many that have come from blue collar careers looking to start a business with Ambit Energy.
The site I am going to mention in this blog page is the site of Executive Consultant Shawn Cornett. Shawn too is connected my Senior Partner Elizabeth. Shawn is a great marketer and has some good information to help the New or Marketing Consultant get started. First mouse over tool box and one by one click on Success Passport, Customer Training, and Boot Camp Webinars. Most of this information you can just show up with a notebook or come back and review because most of this information is done in video and audio. After that you should go through the blog archives where you can pick up some more interesting posts that may help you and answer some questions. For many of new consultants worry about the other competition and how it will reflect them in their goals and business plan. Shawn has done a great job of analyzing the competition in Ambit Versus. Mouse over Ambit Versus and click on the different companies and how they compare to Ambit.

For the last thought for this page I want direct you to Bob Parsons’ Video blog. You need to go there because Vlog number forty is relatively new and is not available for posting on other sites yet. Some people that have recently met me know I am a little quite at first. I think this is an appropriate video for those of us that have a tendency to be quiet. Quiet is not a bad quality but to overcome some things to become more visible is a must in marketing. When you get on to Bob Parson’s Blog on the right side you will see past blogs and click on blog 40 You Should Never Sweat What Others  Think About You.
